As part of our 70 Day Savings celebration, we’re offering 1.00% APR* off your current auto or recreational loan rate when you refinance from another lender—now through January 11, 2026. Government Employee Relief Loan
With the government shutdown we know many of our members may be impacted by a sudden suspension of pay. To support you during this time, SFCU is offering a special consumer relief loan designed to help cover essential expenses.
Loan amount: Up to one gross pay period or $2,500 (whichever is less) Interest rate: 0.00% APR Term: Up to 6 months Proof of furlough required One loan per member*APR=Annual Percentage Rate. No down payment required. Rates and terms are subject to credit review and approval requirements. Membership at Sentinel FCU is required by opening a minimum $5.00 Regular Share account. This is a limited time offer, available until the end of the Government Shutdown. Offer valid for members affected by the government shutdown who provide verified proof of furlough.

There are many reasons a monthly payment could be a financial strain like a temporary reduction in income, school or unforeseen expenses such as car repair or medical bills. Maybe you need the extra cash to pay for holiday bills or a vacation. Our Skip-A-Payment program gives you the option to defer monthly payments on eligible loans. The skipped payments are added to the end of the loan without affecting your credit.
As a member, you can skip one monthly payment on qualified loans between September 1 – Dec. 31, 2025.
