It’s simple: when you refer a friend to open a share account with us, both you and your friend will receive $50* as a token of our appreciation. But that’s not all – we’re also committed to giving back to the community that makes us strong. For every successful referral, we will donate $50* to a local nonprofit organization, making a positive impact right where it matters. It’s a win-win-win situation: you earn, your friend earns, and the community thrives. By inviting your friends to join the Sentinel family, you’re not only sharing the exceptional banking experience we offer, but you’re also contributing to the betterment of our local community. We’ve carefully selected a range of impactful nonprofit organizations that align with our values and commitment to making a difference. Each successful referral not only earns you and your friend $50, but also enables us to donate $50 to one of these chosen nonprofits. Together, we can create a positive ripple effect that echoes far beyond the realm of banking.
Below are the nonprofits that have been chosen:
*Refer a friend cash bonus offer valid for a limited time only and can end at any time per Credit Union’s discretion. Existing Member (“referrer”) must have an account with us, Sentinel Federal Credit Union. A new member (“friend”) must present a completed Referral Form at the time of account opening and establish a new Share Account. New members cannot have any existing accounts (primary or joint) within the last 12 months. Membership eligibility applies. A $5 deposit is required to open a new account. Referrer and Friend cannot begin credit union membership on the same business day. Referrer can only refer one friend per address, friend must be 18 years or older, and a max of 5 friends for $250. Early account closure rules apply. A $25 fee will be applied for account closure before 3 months of account date opening. The credit union will issue a 1099-INT for tax purposes to the referrer and friend. Offer not valid for Sentinel FCU employees and their direct family members nor the Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee members and their direct family members. The promotional credit will be posted to each account within 30 days.
