Mortgage Loan Officer
Sentinel Federal Credit Union is seeking a qualified candidate to fill the position of Mortgage Loan Officer to assist our members in securing a mortgage loan that best meets their needs and helps our members achieve their financial goals.

Duties include originating mortgages, business development, processing mortgage applications, assisting prospective borrowers, collecting borrower financial information, analyzing borrower qualifications plus educating borrowers on the loan process, risks and benefits of loan alternatives and available loan programs.

Qualified applicants must have previous mortgage lending experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills and be highly organized. Must be able to work independently, be self-driven and have strong computer skills. Collection Specialist
Sentinel Federal Credit Union is seeking a full-time Collection Specialist. Duties include assisting with all stages of the collection process to include loss mitigation, foreclosures, skip tracing, insurance claims, repossessions, pre charge-off, charge-off, recovery, bankruptcy, collection agencies and legal filings. Assisting in formulating and producing various reports as necessary to measure collection/recovery effectiveness, handling notices and levies as well as providing administrative and clerical support to collection department.

Qualified applicants must have a minimum of two years collection related experience and have a working knowledge of collection procedures, laws and guidelines, of bankruptcy law and code, and lending laws and procedures. Preferred candidates will have previous collections experience with a financial institution. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be highly organized. Must be able to work independently, be self-driven and have strong computer skills.
